Last year saw the arrival of some great new cars, but there’s even more to look forward to in 2026. It’s a particularly exciting time for fans of high-performance models, and in this video Rory Reid shares which of them he can’t wait to drive.
Rory’s rundown kicks off with the Ferrari 849 Testarossa. There’s a weight of anticipation as Ferrari brings back one of its most iconic names, but with over 1,000 horsepower and a twin-turbo V8 engine this rebirth of a classic model certainly has the power to impress. BMW is next on the list with the new M3. This will be offered with both petrol and electric options and follow in the footsteps of the all-new iX3 – the first new model to showcase BMW’s ‘Neue Klasse’ next-gen design. Rory continues with news of a Corvette SUV. We don’t know much about this yet, but the Bentley Bentaga and Lamborghini Urus rival is bound to be a head-turner. On, then, to the Aston Martin Valhalla, a hypercar which should be easier to tame than the track-honed Valkyrie and wilder than the DB12. Rory brings us down to Earth with the more attainable Audi RS6, which will be offered as a plug-in hybrid petrol and, for the first time, there’ll be an all-electric version too. After the Audi, Rory calls out some hotly anticipated electric models including Ferrari’s first EV, the aptly named Elettrica, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N, and the production-ready version of Jaguar’s controversial Type 00. Following these EVs, Rory shares more about McLaren’s W1 and Porsche’s 911 GT2 RS. Next, it’s over to Japan as Rory gives us a flavour of the Toyota’s all-new supercar, the GR GT, and spills the beans on the electric Lexus LFA. Finally, Rory wraps up the video with news of a Corvette ZR1X hypercar, the flagship Polestar 5 and the long-awaited Range Rover Electric. It’s clear 2026 is going to be an adrenaline-fuelled year. But which car is your favourite? Let Rory know which models you’re most looking forward to in the YouTube comments.
