My favourite Friday afternoon ritual is browsing for the coolest cars on Autotrader. And every now and then, I stumble across absolute gems once driven by world-famous celebrities.
Personally, I’m waiting for the day Lady Gaga’s legendary pink 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille hits the platform - a vintage masterpiece which was also previously driven by the "King of Rock and Roll" himself, Elvis Presley.
But while I dream about that iconic pink Cadillac, here’s a round-up of some of the most fabulous, star-studded vehicles I’ve actually spotted on Autotrader in the past and present:
Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Land Rover Range Rover
You could be the new owner of Her Late Majesty’s Range Rover. This unique piece of royal history, listed for £125,000, was specially modified for Royal use, featuring a fitted dog guard and the two location holes for securing grab handles, which were installed to assist the late Queen when entering and exiting the vehicle.
But what truly sets this listing apart is that the next owner can get this car, complete with images of her driving it at Sandringham and the Royal Windsor Horse Show which appear in the official documentation accompanying the vehicle.

Sir Elton John’s 1973 Rolls-Royce Phantom
The Rocket Man's legendary Rolls-Royce Phantom VI has just been listed for £299,950. This Phantom has been transformed into a striking modern masterpiece. Finished in black with tinted windows, the rear cabin is the ultimate VIP lounge, boasting a television, video equipment, an old-school fax machine, and a custom-built 36-speaker stereo system.
This Rolls-Royce has been used primarily for high-profile occasions, premieres, and royal engagements, including transport to Buckingham Palace for his 1995 CBE ceremony.

Aston Martin Vantage Abu Dhabi F1 Safety Car
For those looking to own a genuine piece of modern motorsport history, the official Aston Martin Vantage Formula 1 Safety Car listed on Autotrader was an unparalleled find. One of the only two released for private sale and signed by current Aston Martin F1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, this Vantage covered over 4,200 track kilometres across 20 Grand Prix weekends between 2021 and 2023.
What’s more, this was the exact safety car that was deployed during the highly controversial final laps of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that set the stage for Max Verstappen's dramatic, championship-winning overtake of Lewis Hamilton.

Chris Eubank Jr.'s Mansory McLaren 720S

'Dave's Coaches' bus from Gavin & Stacey
This iconic piece of British television history, the original "Dave's Coaches" bus from the hit comedy series Gavin & Stacey, was up for sale as a unique collector's item. Priced at a price of £200,000, the vehicle was a red, 33-seater Mercedes-Benz Vario 814D first registered in 1990.
Despite the vehicle having over 400,000 kms on its clock, its legendary status remains unchanged. It came complete with the instantly recognisable "Dave's Coaches" design details on its front and sides, which was last seen on screen during the show's 2024 Christmas finale.

Madonna’s Mini Cooper S Hatch

Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Bentley Mulsanne Limousine
