When we think of supercars, we think of power, but if you want a Porsche 911 GT3 RS for its unbeatable prowess, then Rory thinks you’ve missed the point.
Based upon the original GT3, the 911 GT3 RS has been upgraded with motorsports in mind to give the driver more of a professional track experience. Donning Formula One aerodynamics, new suspension, and a more powerful engine, the Porsche GT3 RS is an inspired piece of engineering and art which showcases Porsche in a whole new light. Find out what Rory Reid thinks of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS in our latest video.

How much is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS?

This stunning supercar comes with a price tag to match. If you’re looking to buy a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 RS, prices start from a hefty £178,500.

911 GT3 RS vs 911 Carrera

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS celebrates the history of the brand by paying homage to the 911 Carrera. The latest generation, however, comes with an upgrade.
The 911 GT3 RS is built with a 4-litre 6-cylinder engine that boasts 518 horsepower which propels the car to a top speed of 184mph. It can even clear 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, but how does it compare to the 911 Carrera? The 911 Carrera falls short of the GT3 RS’s feats as it’s engineered with a 3-litre flat 6-cylinder, generating 380 horsepower, which means it can go from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 182mph. However, on the upside, the Porsche Carrera starts at around £89,900, meaning you could save yourself almost £100,000 if you’re not too hung up about the extra power.
