The French car manufacturer Citroen is owned and operated by Stellantis. Citroen was acquired by Peugeot in 1976 to create PSA Group, under which Citroen operated until 2021 when PSA Group merged with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. After that Citroen came under the control of the newly formed Stellantis.
