Most Loved Car 2024 – Porsche Macan

Some cars are bought for practicality. Some just for transport. But this award is the one celebrating the cars bought with the heart, for the simple reason they bring a bit of sunshine to your life whenever you take the wheel. The definition of fun is a diverse one as well, runners up here including a practical electric SUV in the shape of the Nissan Ariya and a back-to-basics sporting coupe in the Toyota GR86.
Our winner comes from a brand known for taking fun very seriously indeed, though. So huge congratulations to the Porsche Macan for scooping the top prize, especially for the fact the praise from owners focuses on the outgoing version and not the recently launched all-electric one. Performance, acceleration, handling and build quality were all consistently praised by owners, proving Porsche has set itself a very high bar for the new Macan to clear. We have little reason to doubt that it will carry on where the existing one left off, and wouldn’t be surprised to see it winning this category again in the not too distant future!
