Sustainability Initiative Award 2024 – Bentley

A global effort is needed to tackle the climate crisis and this is the exact approach being taken by this year’s Sustainability initiative award winner, Bentley. That might surprise you, what with Bentley being a purveyor of exotic, big-engined luxury cars. However, the judges were impressed by Bentley initiatives that encompass an amazing variety of projects across the globe.
Particularly impressive is the collaboration with local charities and Non-Governmental Organisations to extend the reach of the work. The Bentley Environmental Foundation addresses the environmental and social impacts of climate change, working with communities to help find solutions. With all this achieved in less than one year, it will be exciting to see the next stage of positive impact come to life. Bentley is already moving towards the electrification of its cars, too. The latest Continental GT packs a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, making it one of the lowest CO2-emitting cars on sale.
