Everyone’s trying to do the right thing these days, whether it’s being a little more eco conscious in their shopping, eating a little less meat in their diet or getting up off the couch for some fresh air and exercise. Same goes for cars, with the waves of apparently virtuous hybrids and electric cars hitting showrooms promising you mobility and a clean conscience.

While there are plenty of performance SUVs out there Rory reckons the big Jaguar has a certain something about it that makes it capable of more than just straight-line speed.
