Coming soon: Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Spyder

Rory Reid takes a first look at Lamborghini's return to rear-wheel drive: the 2020 Huracan EVO RWD Spyder

Ahead of its projected release later this summer. Lamborghini has just unveiled their new Huracan, the EVO RWD Spyder, via augmented reality.
Rory Reid got a first look at what promises to be one of the most thrilling Lambos to date — here are five reasons why:
1) It’s rear-wheel drive.
This will be the first Lamborghini since 2015’s LP 580-2 to be rear-wheel drive. As most sports cars have been going down the four-wheel drive route, a return to RWD could really stand out.
2) The engine.
The new Lamborghini Huracan uses a 5.2 litre V10 engine, promising 610 horsepower and a top speed of over 200mph.
3) The noise.
Lamborghini is using a naturally aspirated V10 with no petrol particulate filter, so you’ll get the classic noise (unlike a lot of modern cars — more on that here). Even better, the Huracan EVO RWD has a convertible roof, so you’ll be able to drop the top and enjoy the engine note even more.
4) Drift mode – sort of.
The Huracan EVO RWD uses performance traction control system (PTCS) which, when in sport mode, acts like drift mode.
5) The technology.
There’s some really cool technology in this car. Alexa comes built-in, so you can use voice control while you drive. Yes, you can make calls and control the car using your voice, but you can also connect it to your smart home and ask your car to open the garage doors or turn the heating on when you’re on the way home. Seriously impressive.
