Yutong To Launch Electric 7.5-tonne Truck In The UK
Chinese company Yutong is launching a new electric 7.5-tonne truck in the UK in Q2 2025 with a reported maximum range of over 180 miles.

The new truck will be called the Yutong T75e and be provided with either a 100kW or 132kW battery - the latter providing over 180 miles of range. It will have an unladen chassis-cab weight of under 3,000kg and will be offered in a range of body types including box, tipper, curtain side, compaction and insulated bodies with three different electric Power Take-Off (ePTO) options.
When Will Demonstrator Vehicles Be Available To The Public?
The Yutong demonstrator vehicles will be available for customer trials in April 2025. The Yutong T75e will also be at the Road Transport Expo taking place in Stoneleigh over 24-26 June 2025.
Which Company Will Be Distributing The Yutong T75e In The UK?
Yutong has appointed Pelican Engineering as the sole UK and Ireland importer and distributor for the T75e, having worked with the company since 2014.

Who Is Yutong?
Yutong is the world’s largest bus and coach manufacturer with approximately 12% share of the global market. It is also the second-largest zero-emission truck builder in China. The company made its first electric bus in 1999 and this powertrain and tech has been applied to a wide range of commercial vehicles.
