Gone are the days when a high-performance Lamborghini SUV seems controversial and the combination of power and practicality offered by the Urus is the secret to its success.

Now, Lamborghini has turned up the dial further to create the fastest Urus yet. Enter the Urus SE Performante, a plug-in hybrid super SUV packing 812 horsepower. In this video Rory Reid gets a up close and personal with the Urus SE Performante to find out how just how much it differs from the regular SE version.

First Rory takes us through the numbers; the very impressive numbers. Then he shows us the key highlights which include a LOT of carbon fibre. Finally, there’s the all-important exhaust system to sample before it’s time for a tour of the interior.

The big question, though, is what will the Urus SE Performante be like to drive? Rory’s experience of the previous Performante and SE versions give us a clue, but we will have to wait a while longer for the final verdict.
