Hyundai reveals an all-new Bayon and a Tucson N Line in Paris

Hyundai is rounding off 2026 with a flurry of activity. We’ve just driven the Ioniq 3, an incredibly affordable all-electric hatchback, and now Hyundai it has unveiled an all-new Bayon and a Tucson N Line at the Paris Motor Show.

Here’s the lowdown on the latest Hyundais.

Hyundai Tucson N Line

Hyundai only revealed the all-new Tuson a couple of weeks ago, but it was keeping this N Line version in its back pocket until now.

This adds sportier styling cues including a more angular front bumper in satin black, gloss black wingmirrors, a sculpted body-coloured rear diffuser, twin exhaust pipes and a bespoke wheel design.Inside, it gains sportier seats, a perforated leather steering wheel and a darker upholstery with red highlights adding to the performance-focused feel.

However, for all the extra N Line badging, this version of the Tucson doesn’t actually differ from what we’ve already seen – except for the two extra USB-C ports in the back for rear passengers. The N Line is basically just a Tucson in athleisure, it looks the part, but don’t expect it to provide sports car thrills. There’s no special tuning for extra performance and you’ll get the same choice of petrol, hybrid or plug-in hybrid options as the regular model.

What you will get, though, is a smart family SUV packed with plenty of safety tech and the same new Pleos Connect infotainment system we were impressed by in the Ioniq 3.

Hyundai Bayon

The previous Bayon was all too easily overlooked in the sea of compact crossovers. However, now Hyundai is bringing us an all-new model hoping to tempt buyers away from rivals including the Vauxhall Mokka, Skoda Kamiq and Ford Puma.

The Bayon slots beneath the Kona in Hyundai’s range, and it now gains chunkier looks, more creature comforts and the latest tech. It’s now larger than before with a taller stance making it more SUV and less hatchback. This creates a lager boot and more interior space for rear passengers who will now get to recline in optional heated rear seats.

It’s still relatively compact, though, but Hyundai has packed the Bayon with features you might expect to find in a larger car including ambient lighting, ventilated and heated front seats, driver lumbar support, a panoramic sunroof and a Bose sound system. Naturally, the Bayon comes with a comprehensive suite of safety systems including blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

The Bayon also gains updated tech including a digital key and a panoramic display created with two curved screens. We are pleased to see Hyundai has kept a few physical buttons and there is a dedicated touch sensitive panel of climate controls.

Engine-wise, initially there will be the same 1.0-litre petrol engine as before available as a manual or automatic, but in addition to the previous 90 horsepower version Hyundai will also offer a 115 horsepower model. Hyundai has also said it plans to introduce a hybrid system in due course.

Like the Tucson, Hyundai will also offer a sportier N Line trim with a meaner look and bespoke interior.
