Best Car for City Drivers 2024 Mini Electric

Drivers are smitten by the brand-new electric Mini right out of the gate. We love it too, saying in our review that “the simplified styling and fabulous interior really move the Mini’s game on.” It’s no surprise that it’s won our Best Car for City Drivers award.
This, the fourth modern Mini generation under BMW ownership, is arguably the biggest step change yet. It’s still available with petrol power, but this time Mini focused on electric power from the outset. It’s miles ahead of the old electric Mini, with multiple power choices, two battery options and a range of up to 250 miles. The interior is a minimalistic marvel, centred around a stunning circular OLED display and with some of the best interior lighting in the business. In some ways it hasn’t changed at all though. It’s still one of the most fun-to-drive cars at any price, and you can still customise it to the hilt. A worthy winner.
