As a development to the previously published news story about new electric vans from Flexis, Renault has now confirmed the names and body styles of the vans and that they will fit into its future van range.
The three new vans will carry the Estafette, Goelette and Trafic names, and all are 100% electric. The new press shots look great and give us a better idea of how these vehicles will look in their final guise. The vehicles are the result of a collaboration with Flexis, the independent company founded by Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group. They will be built on the new “skateboard” platform mentioned in the previous news story. The vans are set to arrive on the market from 2026 - we’ve been told that further details will be revealed soon.

Trafic E-Tech Electric

Trafic E-Tech Electric features a one-box design with a short front overhang and extended wheelbase, with wheels positioned at the corners to maximise interior space and maintain a turning circle equivalent to that of a Renault Clio. It will also be less than 1.90m tall for easy access to underground car parks.
At the front is a backlit upper strip with side DRLs and a backlit logo in the centre. The rear end features a high body line at the same level as the side windows with asymmetrical hinged doors and a spoiler. Further details are yet to be revealed.

Goelette E-Tech Electric

Goelette E-Tech Electric will be available in three versions: chassis cab, box and tipper, which will surely develop into a range of conversions.
Its front end looks very similar to the new Trafic - no doubt being of the same design. The rear section has no specific equipment being designed to accommodate a range of fittings and customised features, with structural parts able to accommodate a box or other configurations tailored to specific user requirements. The rear lights look very cool and the vehicle will be available with or without a running board. Further details are yet to be revealed.

Estafette E-Tech Electric

Inspired by the Renault Estafette Concept we saw at IAA Transportation Renault Estafette Concept that we saw at IAA Transportation in 2024, the Estafette will be 5.27m long and 1.92m wide. Standing at 2.6m high, it will allow a person up to 1.90m tall to move around the interior between the cockpit and cargo area.
The vehicle will feature a large three-piece panoramic windscreen with the front end featuring a distinctive lighting setup with a light strip and aligned daytime running lights. It will also feature a sliding side door with an invisible integrated track and running boards on both sides of the vehicle. At the rear, a single-piece roller shutter door and stainless steel running board have been added for easier load access. Further details are yet to be revealed.
