A good seven-seater needs to be comfortable, spacious and practical. While the Mercedes-Benz EQB and last year’s winner the Hyundai Santa Fe tick a lot of boxes, the Volvo XC90 takes home the award for 2026.

Volvo’s reputation for safety was a key aspect for XC90 owners. One said, “It’s designed to protect not just the driver, but everyone inside, which is important to me – especially in a seven-seater where I might be carrying family or friends.” Others praised the XC90 for its roominess highlighting how they love “the ability to take up to seven people in the car without trouble and still be able to have some luggage with that.”
