The Fiat Professional TRIS is a first in the urban micro-mobility market: a 100% electric pick-up three-wheeled electric vehicle designed for last-mile deliveries and launched in Morocco at the end of 2025. But could it come to the UK? Well, time will tell on that front but we have confirmation it will launch in Italy and other European markets this year.

What are the Fiat Professional TRIS’s topline stats?

The TRIS will provide a 56-mile range, lightweight design, low running costs, and the ability to carry up to 540 kg in its cargo space. The load space is approximately 2.25 square meters, big enough to fit a standard Euro pallet. It will be available in three configurations – chassis-cabin, flatbed, and pick-up.

What is the Fiat Professional TRIS like to drive?

We haven’t driven one yet, but it is designed with no clutch or gearbox. Its chassis and structure are protected from corrosion with an automotive-grade zinc coating, and it features full LED lighting at the front and rear. It’s small at just 3.17 metres long and provides a tight 3.05-metre turning circle, which sounds perfect for driving down narrow city streets. TRIS is powered by a 48-volt electric motor capable of reaching a top speed of 28 mph. The small cabin will feature a USB-C port and 12V socket to allow devices to be charged, and a small driver information display.

How long does it take to charge the Fiat Professional TRIS?

The TRIS can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in just 3.5 hours, with a complete recharge done and dusted in just under five hours using a standard domestic plug. Regenerative braking is a standard feature to help maximise range and reduce energy consumption.

When will the Fiat Professional TRIS launch?

TRIS has already launched in Morocco and will launch in Europe during 2026, starting with Italy.
