KGM has revealed the new Musso Commercial range of pick-up trucks – two-seat commercial vehicle versions of its Musso Rebel and Saracen models

The KGM Musso Commercial range of pick-up trucks is designed for business users, and combines the proven capabilities of the company’s Musso pick-up with a new load space and better tax-efficiency. The Commercial range is available on Rebel and Saracen models, offering an interesting work-only pick-up against the backdrop of the UK's shifting tax treatment of double and extended-cab pick-ups.

We’ve been lucky enough to drive all the new models in KGM’s range of Musso pick-up trucks – the new Musso Rhino and Musso EV, included – and can’t wait to try out the new commercial models. Anyway, here’s what we know about the new KGM Musso Commercial range.

How are the KGM Musso Commercial pick-up trucks converted to commercial vehicles?

The transformation from double-cab to Commercial sees the Musso trade in its back seats to create a new load space inside the cabin. This space is fitted with a full-height fixed mesh bulkhead, a heavy-duty rubber cargo mat, and rear window security mesh. This creates a new cargo space for tools and equipment, and secures the truck's eligibility for 100% write-down allowance and standard commercial Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax rates.

How practical are the KGM Musso Commercial pick-up trucks?

Capability remains central with the Commercial trucks providing a 3.5-tonne towing capacity alongside a maximum payload of up to 1,205 kg. Seating is reduced to just two, but these trucks are built for work, not family.

How powerful are the KGM Musso Commercial pick-up trucks?

Power comes from the company’s 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with selectable 4x4 and low ratio gearing. The powertrain is engineered for users who regularly move between sites, tow heavy machinery, or navigate rural, construction, and trade environments where increased traction and durability are required.

When will the KGM Musso Commercial pick-up trucks be available in the UK?

They are available right now. The Musso Commercial range is available immediately through KGM’s UK dealer network.

How much will the KGM Musso Commercial pick-up trucks cost?

Prices start from £33,980 excluding VAT. Crucially, the commercial two-seat conversion is available at no additional cost compared to the equivalent standard Musso model.
