- The Promoter
- The promoter is Auto Trader Limited. Registered in England & Wales with registered number: 03909628 1. Registered office: Tony Wilson Place, Manchester M15 4FN (“the Promoter”).
- The promotion is administrated by Autorama UK Ltd T/A Vanarama. Registered in England & Wales with registered number: 05137709. Registered office: Vanarama, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DE (“the Administrator”). Vanarama is the trading style of Autorama UK Ltd who are authorised & regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (our Financial Conduct Authority Register number is 630748).
- The Promotion and eligibility
- Auto Trader's Black Friday 2023 £250 Cashback promotion (hereafter referred to as “the promotion”) will run from 12:01am on Sunday 19th November 2023 until 11:59pm on Monday 27th November 2023 (“the promotion period”). The Promoter reserves the right to extend the promotion at its discretion.
- All eligible customers who submit a new order for an eligible vehicle lease deal (in accordance with clause 2.3 below) within the promotion period will be able to claim £250 cashback (in the form of a cashback transfer, as detailed below), subject to these terms and conditions.
- In order to qualify for the promotion:
- Eligible customers must submit a finance application in connection with an eligible vehicle lease deal (as defined in clause 2.3(b) below) (“order”) during the promotion period. This can be done either online on the Auto Trader Platform or via the leasing sales team over the phone;
- Orders can be submitted on any cars, vans or pickup trucks specifically identified as a “£250 Cashback” vehicle (an “eligible vehicle lease deal”), subject to availability; and
- The cashback offer must be claimed by the customer in accordance with the process and timescales set out in clause 2.13.
- Orders submitted outside of the promotion period, or in connection with any vehicle that is not an eligible vehicle lease deal, will not be eligible for the cashback offer.
- The promotion is open to everyone in the UK aged 18 years or over who submits an order during the promotion period, except:
- employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
- employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
- A vehicle identified as “£250 Cashback” will usually have an estimated delivery lead time of up to 56 days. However this could be up to 6 months. This is an estimation only and is subject to change.
- We aim to deliver your vehicle within the estimated timeframe in accordance with clause 2.6. However, as we are working with third parties and external suppliers, there may be delays due to circumstances outside of our control.
- Any extra accessories (dealer or 3rd party fit) to the vehicle could also affect estimated delivery lead times.
- If a customer orders more than one vehicle they are eligible to claim more than one set of cashback. For example, if a customer orders two vehicles they will be eligible for two £250 cashback sums (i.e. £500 cashback in total), if a customer orders three vehicles they will be eligible for three £250 cashback sums (i.e. £750 cashback in total), etc.
- If you cancel your order before delivery of your vehicle, or if you request to return your vehicle in the 30 day cooling-off period following delivery of your vehicle under our returns policy, you will no longer be eligible for the promotion.
- Any cashback already received in connection with the promotion must be repaid at the point of requesting the return of the vehicle.
- The £250 cashback is not available in conjunction with any other cashback offer or any other offer.
How to claim your cashback- Customers who qualify for the promotion must follow the process below to claim their £250 cashback:
- Following completion of an order and once the vehicle has been delivered, the customer will receive an email from Vanarama (which is the trading name of Autorama Ltd, an Auto Trader group company, who are administrating the promotion on the Promoter's behalf) to claim their £250 cashback. This email will be sent 1 day after a 30 day cooling off period following the delivery of their vehicle, to the email address provided at the time the order was submitted. It is the customer's responsibility to check their email inbox for receipt of the claim email.
- Customers must claim their £250 cashback within 60 days of receiving their claim email.
- Claims outside of the 60 days will not be processed.
- Customers will need to follow the link from the email to an online claim form in order to confirm that they would like to receive their £250 cashback.
- It is the customer's full responsibility to submit this claim form.
- If the customer has more than one vehicle then they will receive more than one claim form email and will therefore need to submit the online form multiple times to claim their cashback for each vehicle.
- Cashback payment will be processed by BACs within 7 working days of the claim form being completed. For example, (i) if you receive a claim invite email on a Thursday and fill in the claim form online before 11:59pm on the same Thursday, you will be paid within the 7 working days after that date, between the hours of 09:00am – 17:00pm.
- The £250 cashback will be paid by BACs from “Autorama UK Ltd”.
- The bank account that the £250 cashback will be paid into will be the same account set up for the monthly payments of the vehicle lease.
- The cashback offer is not negotiable or transferable. No other cash alternative or voucher will be provided.
- Payment is always at the discretion of Auto Trader.
- General
- By submitting an order, a customer is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms & conditions. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude from the promotion anyone it reasonably believes to be in breach of these terms and conditions.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a customer or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the cashback offer except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- The Promoter will not accept responsibility for any orders submitted outside of the promotion period, or for any claim emails and/or forms that are lost, mislaid, delayed, or otherwise not received by the customer and/or the Promoter, due to customer default, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
- The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion & these terms & conditions without notice where it becomes necessary to do so.
- If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
- The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate details supplied to any customer by any third party connected with this promotion.
- The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy located at https://www.autotrader.co.uk/privacy-notice.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
