Some cars make you want to drive them for the sheer joy of the experience – this is where our Most Fun Car to Drive award comes in. This year the Mini Cooper and the Cupra Born were strong contenders, but the Renault 5 takes the win.
We enjoyed living with a Renault 5, and judging from the responses we received from owners, it’s smiles per mile all round. One owner said their car “gives you the fun factor to drive” while another agreed, saying “it's fun – the way it looks, drives and feels, it’s Renault at its best.”
