Proof that the Drivers’ Choice Awards is a broad church comes right here, your nominations for the car you’re most excited about seeing ranging from an affordable city car through to a premium family SUV and top-end, high-performance dream machine from one of the most celebrated automotive names out there.
In the end the Ferrari Luce scooped the top prize, this being perhaps the only competition in which it will be fighting for honours with the new Renault Twingo!
All due respect to Renault’s city car, but Ferrari going electric was always going to be the biggest story in town, its collaboration with ex-Apple designer Jony Ive teased with pictures of the interior before the full car was revealed just the other week. And pretty much breaking the internet in the process. Love it or loath it, the Luce is one of the most significant cars of recent times, and a deserving winner of our Most Anticipated Car award even when you consider it had been voted on before anyone had even seen it!
