Fiat | Paris Motor Show 2026

Fiat’s playful stand showcases the new Grizzly SUV, retro quadricycles and a shapeshifting concept car

You can always rely on Fiat to bring the fun and its display at the Paris Motor Show does not disappoint – it’s chockablock with colour and heritage-inspired cars offering a sweet antidote to its more corporate and straitlaced competitors.

Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback

Yes, Fiat really has named its new family car after a large brown bear, continuing the theme it started with the Panda. While it is best-known for making small cars, Fiat is extending its range with two larger models: the Grizzly SUV and a coupe-like Grizzly Fastback. The chunky design features pixel light signatures at the front and back. Both versions share their underpinnings with the Citroën C3 Aircross, the Vauxhall Frontera and the Grande Panda. The Grizzly is a similar size to the Dacia Bigster and promises to offer plenty of space and flexibility.

Topolino

The Fiat Topolino is the Citroën Ami’s Italian cousin with even cuter looks. This two-seat all-electric quadricycle is designed for zipping around the city with a range of up to 46 miles and a top speed of 28mph. Fiat showcased three variations of the adorable Topolino on its stand in Paris: the Topolino Sport finished in white with red ‘go-faster’ stripes, the Topolino Corallo in burnt orange featuring glass doors and a glass roof, and a convertible mint green Topolino Dolcevita Verde Vita sporting a canvas roof and canvas doors.

Multiplina

The Fiat Multiplina is another retro-inspired electric quadricycle. It’s larger than the tiny Topolino with four seats and a bump in battery size, range and power. However, it’s still very compact with roughly the same footprint as the original 500 and it takes styling inspiration from the 1950s 600 Multipla, a diddy MPV people-mover.

Multiplay

The Multiplay is a nod to the Multipla from the late 1990s and the further nod to the original 600 Multipla. It is very much a concept car and Fiat is describing it as a “3-in-1” vehicle due to the way it combines the space of an MPV, the character of an SUV and the versatility of a pick-up truck. The Multiplay’s party piece is its ‘Metamorfosi’ sliding rear section allowing it to transform from a six-seat family car into a four-seat pick-up.

To add further flexibility, in six-seat formation the Multiplay feature a multifunctional ‘Petsenger Seat’ providing space for a pet, a child’s car seat, a table or extra storage. There’s also an integrated bike rack in the rear spoiler and the front passenger seat reclines so you can longe in a ‘Sunseat’ below the panoramic roof. The colour is inspired by the Italian summer with watermelon paintwork over a red and pink interior. Bellissima!
