Get to know… Mini Electric
Built in Britain alongside the rest of the Mini range, the Mini Electric is agile, easy and fun to drive.
It’s got the classic Mini looks, with an optional dash of fluorescence in the badge and detailing to distinguish it as the new electric version. Other tells include new digital dials in the cabin, and the sat nav with charging station information (including directions) built in. The Mini Electric’s 32 kWh battery and electric motor should grant you up to 145 miles between charges. Your standard home charger unit should fully charge the Mini Electric from flat in about five hours and cost you just £5 to do so (depending on your home tariff). If you’re out and about, a 50kW rapid charger should get you charged in under half an hour. Read the full review.
