Remarkably all nominees for this award are new brands to the UK – which just goes to show how the car world is changing. Dacia’s long reign has come to an end as Chery takes home the Best Value Brand award for 2026, with Jaecoo and Leapmotor coming in as runners up.
Chery owners were impressed by levels of comfort and the technology in their cars, with several singling out the large screen and parking cameras as top features. “It has so much tech, almost matching Tesla but the price is half,” said one happy owner, while another added, “the amount of car you get for the money” as their favourite thing about their car.
