Auto Trader: World’s Biggest Quiz

We’re giving away three electric vehicles and 170 other prizes worth over £100,000 in our attempt to make quizzing history.
On the 15th November at 7pm, Auto Trader will be attempting to win a Guinness World Records™ title. Join our attempt for a chance to win big on what promises to be an electrifying night! All you have to do is log in via your mobile device and answer every question. The more questions you get right, and the faster you answer – the more points you score. Join the quiz at 7pm sharp and test your knowledge (and your speed) – pre-register your space here.

Head over to our electric car hub and pop your name and email address in the form to pre-register for the quiz.
We’ll send you reminders closer to the time so you can secure your spot on the day of the quiz. Spaces will be limited on the day itself so make sure you arrive on time! On the day, we’ll send you a link to join the quiz on your mobile device. You’ll also be able to find the link to the live quiz on the electric car page from just before 7pm.

You have to answer as many questions correctly, as quickly as you can, to rack up your points.
That said, don't have to come first to win a prize. You don't even have to come first to win a car. There’ll be a whole mix of rounds so even if you feel like you’re falling behind, stick around and see what comes next – you might be pleasantly surprised at how quickly your fortune could change. There are three electric vehicles up for grab on the night: • Super Soco TSX 50cc Electric Bike • Vauxhall Corsa Electric Anniversary Edition • Vauxhall Mokka Electric The bike will be won at the end of round three, the overall winner and recipient of the Mokka Electric will be declared at the end of the quiz and you’ll need to stay tuned to see at which point in the quiz the Corsa Electric will be won 😉. We’ll also be giving away 10 prizes at the end of each round to the players who are ranked in certain positions (e.g. 1, 100, 250, 1000, 3000, 5000) – so you don’t have to be winning to get a prize! And that’s not all. For every question you answer correctly, you get a ‘lucky dip token’. Each token gives you one chance at winning one of 100 additional electric prizes. Winners will be picked out at random at the end of the quiz – so stay on until the very end and answer every question.

If you’ve pre-registered for the quiz, we’ll send you a link to the quiz platform just after six thirty pm (18:30). Click on the link provided and enter your user name just before seven pm.

We’ve capped the quiz at 50,000 places – so there’s a chance you might not be able to get in. Make sure you join at seven pm sharp to grab your place.
If you see a screen telling you the quiz is full then don't worry, you could still win a car this month by entering Auto Trader's monthly electric car giveaway instead!

The player with the most right answers in the quickest time is the overall winner.
Other prizes will be allocated throughout the night – so you don’t have to be winning to get a prize, you just have to be taking part!

Each question has a time limit - the quicker you answer, the bigger your time bonus will be. It’s worth noting that when there’s more time available to answer a question, the bigger the time bonus will be if you answer quickly.

Your rank is worked out based on the number of correct answers you have and your time bonus. The player with the most right answers in the quickest time is the overall winner.

The overall winner of the quiz will be announced at the end. We’ll check in on the leader board as we go.
There will be a number of prizes awarded to specific places at the end of each round – so you don’t have to be winning the quiz to get a prize. Just try and answer every question as you do. At the end of the quiz, the Top 10 places will appear on your device, and the second car winner will be announced by the presenters in a lucky dip. Other lucky dip prizes will be awarded after the show and we’ll get in touch with all winners as soon as possible after the quiz to let you know what you’ve won.

Prizes are allocated so you can’t choose. Don’t worry though, there’s some amazing free stuff up for grabs.

No - you still need to turn up on time on Tuesday, 15th Nov. The first 50,000 players to join the quiz will be allowed in. If you’ve pre-registered, we’ll send you a link to the quiz first.

Yes. Turn up at 7pm (or just before!) and if there are seats available, you can join the quiz. Look for a link on our electric car hub, or on our social channels.

If there is room, you can, but you won't be contributing to the Guinness World Record attempt ☹

If you do not tick the opt-in for marketing preference, we will only contact you if you are a winner. A list of usernames will be shared with Guinness World Records to verify the total number of players in our World Record Attempt (names and addresses will not be shared with anyone).

If you are a winner, we will need to contact you to get your prize to you. If you mis-type your contact info, we won't be able to get you your prize. By asking for both your mobile and your email, it gives us a second chance to contact you if there is an error in one.
