Rory is lucky enough to drive pretty much everything for videos on the Autotrader YouTube channel, so the bar is higher than most for a car to win the award carrying his name. This year that car is the Ferrari 12 Cilindri, and nothing less than the pinnacle of development for the V12 engines that have been the heart and soul of the brand’s most celebrated road and race models.
Given the sound and sensory overload of a big, 12-cylinder Ferrari engine are such a core part of the brand’s identity it’s a bittersweet moment to think this may be the last of its type. But Ferrari isn’t for moping, and the 12 Cilindri celebrates all that is wonderful about its petrol-powered supercars in spectacular fashion.
