To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is snap a photo of the Christmas present with the live price tracker when you see it in town, and upload your picture, tagging Auto Trader UK and #autotraderxmas on Twitter or Instagram. If the price tracker shows the correct pre-haggled price of the car, you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win it!
Pre-haggled prices
Lots of brand new cars on Auto Trader come with pre-haggled prices.
This means we work with dealers to list a lower price than the RRP of the new car, saving you time and guesswork – you’ll know you’re getting a great price for your new car. Do you know how much you could save with a pre-haggled price? This Christmas, our present comes with a live price tracker on top. The price on display fluctuates between the RRP of the car and the actual pre-haggled price shown on Auto Trader. To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll simply need to guess the correct pre-haggled price for the Fiat 500 and send us a photo of that figure when it flashes up on the tracker. Easy!

Fiat 500 Lounge at a glance
The Fiat 500 is one of Britain’s most popular cars. The funky looks and retro cabin give it a unique appeal, and the popularity of the car shows it has really struck a chord with the public.
The Lounge trim includes a panoramic glass sunroof, rear parking sensors, a chrome front grille and a leather-trimmed steering wheel. The model we’re giving away in this competition also comes complete with a 7-inch HD touchscreen radio with Bluetooth, USB, aux-in and DAB, plus Apple CarPlay/AndroidAuto connectivity and rear speakers.

Summary Terms and Conditions:
UK, 18+ only. 17/12/19 – 20/12/19. Upload a picture to Instagram or Twitter of the wrapped-up car showing the LED screen displaying what you think is the correct ‘pre-haggled’ price tagging Auto Trader UK and using the hashtag #AutoTraderXmas. Correct entries will be entered into a Prize Draw to win the FIAT 500 Lounge. No purchase necessary. Max 1 entry per person per platform. Winner must respond within 48 hours of initial contact. Full Terms and Conditions
1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, its agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.
2. No purchase necessary; however, internet access and a public Instagram or Twitter account is required. 3. Promotion Period: Enter between 8.00am GMT on the 17th December 2019 and 5.00pm GMT on the 20th December 2019 inclusive. 4. To Enter: a. A red FIAT 500 LOUNGE car will be placed inside a Christmas box and will be driven around retail districts in: i. London on Tuesday 17th December 2019 between 11.30 GMT and 14.30 GMT through the following locations: Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Big Ben/Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch. ii. Birmingham on Wednesday 18th December 2019 between 11.00 GMT and 14.00 GMT through the following locations: St Paul’s Church, Snow Hill Station, Birmingham City University, Birmingham Moor Street Station and Bullring. iii. Manchester on Thursday 19th December 2019 between 11.00 GMT and 14.00 GMT through the following locations: St Ann’s Church, Dean’s Gate Locks, Manchester Central Library, China Town, Arndale Shopping Centre and Printworks. b. There will be a digital LED sign placed on top of the wrapped car which will flash one of ten prices ranging from the RRP of the car to the ‘pre-haggled’ price of the car. c. To enter you must take a picture of the car inside the Christmas box with the LED price showing the price that you believe is the ‘pre-haggled’ price and either: i. Log into your Instagram account (or create one for free) and upload the picture to either your Instagram Story or as an Instagram Post, tagging @AutoTraderUK and using the hashtag #AutoTraderXmas. OR ii. Log into your Twitter account (or create one for free) and upload the picture as a Tweet tagging @AutoTrader_UK and using the hashtag #AutoTraderXmas. d. All those who upload a picture of the correct pre-haggled price using the correct hashtag and correct tag will be entered into a Prize Draw to win the FIAT 500 LOUNGE. 5. Further Entry Details and Conditions: a. You must ensure that your profiles used for entry are set to ‘Public’ throughout the promotional period and for a period of 2 weeks after in order for us to contact you if you are a winner. b. For the purposes of this Promtoion, the ‘pre-haggled’ price means the purchase price which Auto Trader has negotiated with the relevant retailer for the car. c. Twitter has file size limits and video specifications that need to be followed. Please see for more details. d. Only entries which include the promotional hashtag and tag @AutoTraderUK on Instagram or @AutoTrader_UK on Twitter will be valid. e. By submitting your information and creating a Twitter or Instagram account, you agree to the Twitter or Instagram terms of use and privacy notice. If you do not agree to such terms of use and privacy notice, you cannot create a Twitter or Instagram account, or participate in this Promotion. 6. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per social media platform during the Promotion Period. 7. The Prize: 1 winner will win a red FIAT 500 1.2 69hp LOUNGE. The LOUNGE trim includes a panoramic glass sunroof, rear parking sensors, a chrome front grille, leather trimmed steering wheel, 7-inch HD touchscreen radio with Bluetooth, USB, aux-in and DAB, plus Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity and rear speakers. 8. Further Prize Details and Conditions: a. The winner must have and must show a valid driving license prior to collecting the Prize. b. Insurance is not included. If the prize is to be driven on a public highway, insurance cover must be obtained by the winner prior to collection of the Prize. c. Maintenance, services and running costs of the vehicle are the responsibility of the winner from the date of ownership. d. No tax is required for the first year, after which the winner will have to renew and pay the road tax accordingly. e. The Prize will be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty for the first 3 years. f. A MOT will not be required for the first 3 years. g. The car will not be supplied with any fuel. h. By entering this Promotion, all entrants hereby grant the Promoter (or the Promoter’s designee) the exclusive right to film, tape, sound record and photograph all their activities in connection with the Promotion and the Prize. Everything filmed, taped or recorded by the Promoter (or the Promoter’s designee) shall be known as “Footage”. i. The Promoter will refund any travel costs incurred by the winner to travel to London to collect the Prize up to the value of £200. 9. Winner Selection: 1 winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The prize draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas, an independent promotional verification service, within 5 working days of the end of the Promotion Period. 10. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted via the social media account used on entry within 2 working days of Winner Selection and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the Prize, within 2 days of initial contact. In the event that the winner does not respond to the initial contact within 2 days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner. If the winner is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond. 11. Prize Acceptance: The winner will be notified within 28 days of acceptance of the Prize to arrange collection of the Prize. The Prize must be collected by the winner within 14 days of acceptance of the Prize. 12. Moderation: The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter: a. are in breach of the Terms and Conditions; b. contain any content that is offensive, obscene, sexual, derogatory, defamatory, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, which could reflect negatively upon the name, reputation or goodwill of the Promoter or any brand partner, or which is otherwise unsuitable for publication; c. contains or refers to any third-party brand or reference any third-party names, logos and/or trademarks; d. promotes any political agenda. 13. Provided no objection is received, the surname and county of residence of the winner will be made available by the Promoter one month after the close of the Promotion, for a period of 8 weeks by sending an email to with the subject line “Auto Trader Xmas WL”. The winner may object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during Winner Notification. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request. 14. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another prize for it, of equal or greater value. 15. In the event that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries. 16. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or the entry website. 17. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, and that neither Instagram, Facebook nor Twitter has liability for any element of this Promotion. 18. The Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. 19. An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will be not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the rules of the Promotion, that participant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void. 20. Should an act, omission, event or circumstance occur which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms & Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. 21. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize has been awarded. 22. Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless the participants’ positive consent has been obtained. Participants’ personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: 23. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions. 24.
