Sell my car in Scotland

There are three ways you can sell your car:

2. Advertise online – Sell your car privately by creating an advert on Autotrader to reach millions of potential buyers
3. Part exchange – Use our part exchange tool to find out what your car is worth, then trade your old car for a new one to get money off your new car

You’ll need essential documents like your car’s V5C logbook, proof of reservation and purchase, service history, MOT certificate, insurance policy, car warranty, and car part receipts (if any) to sell your car.
