Park Pilot Assist
The EX30 can steer, accelerate and brake to park itself. And yes, it can even parallel park. Just keep a sharp eye on what's going on around you and take over if something unexpected happens.
The car will find good parking spots, too. At speeds up to 13mph, it can locate spaces and show your options on the centre display. Pick one, and the car will do the rest.
Door opening alert
The EX30 uses rear radars to detect cyclists and scooters approaching from behind, sounding an alert if someone in the car goes to open a door.
The alert has two levels. First, you’ll hear a warning on the centre display and a steady BLIS light. When a collision risk is imminent, the alert escalates. You’ll hear a warning sound and the BLIS light will flash.
Pilot Assist
Pilot Assist offers various small yet impactful features. Change lanes effortlessly with the car's assistance, reducing the pressure of lane changes. Navigate around large vehicles with increased spacing and centring between trucks. Adapt your speed in traffic, including stopping and resuming seamlessly. While Pilot Assist provides advanced support, it's crucial to stay attentive, as the system issues prompts and warnings for an engaged driving experience.

- This is a 36-month factory warranty starting from the registration date and includes a 24-month legal warranty.
- For eight years from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, any material defect of the hybrid Lithium battery pack* will be rectified free of charge by an authorised Volvo retailer. The Lithium battery fitted to Volvo hybrids, like all lithium batteries, will experience gradual capacity loss with time and use. Loss of battery capacity due to or resulting from normal gradual capacity loss is not covered under the Volvo new car warranty.
- The Google services are enabled through the Digital services subscription. It is included for up to four years from the retail delivery date if the car is new. After this period ends, new terms and conditions will apply.
