Our review of the Jeep Compass

"The latest Compass may have a lot in common with the Peugeot 5008, Vauxhall Grandland and Citroën C5 Aircross, but it still looks and feels like a proper Jeep. A modest increase in overall size keeps it in line with its competitors, meaning it’s roomier than before and better quality, too. Whilst the mild-hybrid “e-Hybrid” looks good on paper, it doesn’t deliver the fuel savings you might expect. The plug-in hybrid, meanwhile, promises around 55 miles of electric-only range, whereas the fully electric Compass offers both a decent battery range and performance to match. This would be our pick of the bunch and, if you want to tackle the tough terrain Jeep has built its reputation on, the impressively capable dual-motor 4xe version is the one for you."
