5 best Bailey caravans for sale

You’ll find Bailey’s brilliance in ranges across any price bracket, every year. But when there’s so much to choose from, how do you decide on a caravan for sale that covers the most essential ticks on your list?

See below for a selection of models with a welcome style injection where they need it most that will delight on sight. Whether you’re looking for your first tourer or just a new-to-you pride and joy, these are the best five Bailey caravans for sale.

1. Bailey Discovery caravan

While there are plenty of used caravans for sale in the Bailey Discovery range from the ’90s for the tourer budget equivalent of sofa change, the real value comes in the pre-loved D4 models from 2020 onwards. Yes, you have to pay a little more, but you’ll get a second-hand caravan that will feel new, more stylish and more space efficient than most other alternatives you’ll find on-site.
Not one for families, the diminutive Discovery D4 two-berth in particular by Bailey offers awning innovations and one of the lightest towing weights you’ll find in the Bristol-based roster – just 995kg. The huge vertical skylight at the front floods natural light into almost the entire interior of the cosy caravan. While some may see its diminutive dimensions as restrictive, to others it will be the perfect mix of manageable space and practicality. First timers can’t do much better than discovering this brilliant Bailey caravan. Find a Bailey Discovery caravan here.

2. Bailey Unicorn Black Edition caravan

Manufactured between 2019 and 2021, the Black Edition range took established excellence of Bailey Unicorn caravans and perfected them with refreshed interiors, better-equipped kitchen space and exterior styling that stands out.
Seven layouts range from single-axle MTPLM weights of 1330kg to 1532kg, and twin-axle weights of 1682kg to 1698kg MTPLM. The great thing is, depending on which year’s model you choose, you may still be able to eke out the last years of the bodyshell integrity or manufacturer’s warranty for additional peace of mind. 3. Bailey Ranger caravan

Find a Bailey Ranger caravan for sale and you’ll be getting a lot of tourer for your money, whichever model takes your fancy. However, if you’re looking for the best value, there’s very little that can match the GT60, built to celebrate 60 years of manufacture.
Even though you won’t find the vertical skylight of later brilliant Bailey caravans, there’s plenty of natural illumination courtesy of windows aplenty and models with washroom luxury that would rival some new caravans today. Price-wise, you’ll find the GT60 at around £8000 to £10,000 for the 2009 four-berth 520, for example, with plenty of other Ranger models to suit any budget. If you’re after the sense of celebration with a little more of a modern touch, definitely check out one of the six layouts in the Pegasus GT70 special 70th anniversary range. 4. Bailey Phoenix+ caravan

With a broad range of models carrying on best-sellers in the previous Phoenix range, Bailey’s Phoenix+ caravans brought airy interiors and great spec for first time tourers. Launched in 2021, the 642 four-berth, end washroom option rang in at just shy of £20,000, meaning that for the next few years it’s a great option of visual appeal and practicality, but with someone else taking the depreciation hit.
In fact, across the whole range for the price, Bailey managed to install a high level of luxury throughout while still managing to keep weights down. The 644 caravan even has a double island bed with a full-width washroom stretching across the rear; all at a floaty-light 1395kg MTPLM. Find a Bailey Phoenix caravan here.

5. Bailey Alicanto II caravan

Go big and go away from home with Bailey’s eight-foot wide capacious caravans. It’s not luxury for the sake of it here, either, as the practical layouts make serious sense in day to day living, including claims of up to 30% increases in cupboard capacity and 25% more surface space.
Lighting throughout the interior along with little details such as the model lettering integrated into the design make for stand-out style improvements over your traditional tourer. However, in the Alicanto II, substance is in equal abundance thanks to the seating arrangements and fixed bed options making this caravan feel more like a chic apartment or flat. Definitely one to turn heads every time you pull up on pitch. Find a Bailey Alicanto caravan here.
