    Just picked up a Used van from them and I have to say theat the attention to detail has been fantastic. All through the experience I was kept up to date with progress of the preparation of the van and Ash couldn't have been better with his communication. A real breath of fresh air!

    I purchased a VW California at £45K in Jul 2020, and was only able to use it for six days, due to a seriously leaking roof when raining! Due to the dealership not being able to deal with 'warranty' issues, or these types of repairs, VW Bristol cannot deal with this for 8 weeks. This will mean I have a California that cannot be used for 9/10 weeks in all, and I have cancelled three holidays, and I am about to go on a fourth one which I will have to hire a California for at the cost of £130 per day; or alternatively cancel another holiday. Marshalls did nothing until week 6, when a poor review prompted them to contact me. Marshalls made no offer of suitable loan vehicle, or compensation for loss of personal items or cancelled holidays. Recently they have offered a people carrier which will not resolve my issues, or allow me to take my holiday, so I will now have to hire a California at the cost of £130 per day! No customer service and no conscience! Avoid ..Avoid ..Avoid

    After sales care is something that always worries me once you hand over a large amount of cash for a car, but having had an issue resolved I am very happy with the Marshall Bridgwater branch. Firstly when I went to see my Golf, I was left to check the vehicle over by myself so wasn’t under any pressure and there wasn’t any hard sell. I must have spent over 20 minutes checking every button and looking for fault which I couldn't find. Car was priced competitively so bought the car on the day as I was happy with it and drove it home. I had a small problem crop up shortly after purchase which wasn’t a warrantee issue, I sent an email and spoke to the sales dept on the phone and the problem was resolved quickly, which was great. Car also came with one year Das Welt warranty which I have also claimed on and was easy to do at my local VW branch, nothing major, just a replacement bonnet sound deadening mat as they tend to shrink.
