Great service from Marshall at Grantham
we would like to thank David Byrne for the Excellent service he gave us from first email to collecting vehicle. He also took the time to ring us to make sure we got back to Bristol safely thanks Mr & Mrs Stone
I needed to buy during lockdown (online click & collect / delivery the only options). I was told the car was only on sale after being checked, it had warranty, and that I could reject it at the point of collection/delivery. However, I was told there was no cooling off period (contrary to the advice given on Autotrader). I was expecting an email to confirm all this. I heard no more so I phoned up and was told the car had been removed from sale and was being auctioned as it was unsaleable. I asked why (I may still be interested at a lower price if there were only minor faults) and I was told 'we can’t sell it to you under distance selling regs as you’d come back at us and it would cost us too much to fix'. The general tone was not full-on rude but it was abrasive, and not what I’d expect from a main agent. Credit to the garage for taking a faulty car off sale (albeit belatedly), however, this was overall a pretty naff experience with poor communication / customer service.
I had a great experience buying a used car, Hiten was very professional from start to finish, highly recommended.
Excellent remote service from the team. But especially Paul. Who made buying my first car very easy
