Great Experience, great staff at Norton Norwich
Made an appointment to see a Civic at the Norwich dealership. Went for a test drive, was left to check the car over in my own time. Staff were very helpful in answering the questions i put to them. Decided to Purchase the Car which came with a Honda 1 year warranty as standard. Made to feel very comfortable every time i called them to ask any further questions and the follow up was excellent. Very happy customer. Great Car.
I saw an advert on here for a Civic at the dealership's Wimbledon branch. The car spec in the advert was incorrect and was for the SR model rather than the SE I was assured that this was a genuine error and there was no underlying issues with the car. I particularly asked about any smells in the car and the condition of the alloys. I was told there was no smell in the car and the alloys were in good order. Neither of these were true. I paid a £250 deposit for them to transfer the car to Letchworth. When we arrived at the dealership a sales rep went off to get the car returning 20 minutes later with all 4 windows open to try to disguise the smell. The smell was strong and the car alloys not in good condition. I had wasted a 30 mile round trip to view the car. They made promises they could rid the car of the smell but I never heard from them again. I got my £250 refunded about a week later.

I saw the advert for the car on AutoTrader and followed up with a call to Norton Way. The initial response was very good and well followed up with a video. However after that things gradually went down hill!! With little or no attention to anything, and after several promises which were not followed through, and then finally a fault found on the car the day before arrival which delayed it a further 2 weeks!! Very unprofessional team and lack of ownership especially once I had paid. They clearly have a lot of work to do on their sales training and customer support. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a name of anyone senior to give the feedback and the sales team wouldn’t let me speak to anyone else, nor has anyone externally called to do a survey which is unusual Honda!! This was the hardest car purchase experience I have ever had.

choosing and buying a new vehicle, was a pleasurable experience , it felt like the sales team were more like friends . not pushy just offering good advice
