    Reliable, thorough, professional and honest.

Been using Mototweeks for a few years now and Nigel runs an excellent workshop. Absolutely 100% spot on and honest. I do 40,000 miles + a year on various bikes and have done for years. No matter what the issue Nigel (and Jason) have seen it before, diagnosed it before, repaired it before. My bike is my (courier) business meaning I can't be off the road for too long, so I often turn up unannounced - he can either fit me in right there and then, or book me in at short notice. Absolutely diamond guys who can strip and rebuild bikes while they're sleeping. At sensible prices too.

    An Oasis In The Desert.

I live in Clacton on Sea and have had some bad experiences with mechanics who I had thought were not only good but in one case a friend.... how wrong I was. There are NO decent mechanics in our area and the local bike shop's practises are sharper than the local solicitors! With a GL1800 and Valkyries needing the occasional tlc it was desperation stakes when I found Moto Tweeks and Nigel in Chelmsford. Given my serious reservations about the calibre of so called bike mechanics, before even venturing a bike down to Chelmsford I went and scouted (sussed) out the place and met Nigel who not only had the interest to chat, oozed knowledge of bikes out of every pore. My first 'test' of this guy was when I put the 1800 in reverse (don't laugh!) and the wiring harness melted down. Full service and re wire...hmm. No problems, bike was repaired and serviced within days at very reasonable cost. I'm off to Belarus on the Wing in Sept guess who is prepping it for the marathon ride?
