Helpful and friendly staff no pressure when buying the car ! Excellent service
Thank goodness there is a second hand car dealer you can trust! From the first call to Robbie the service from David and the follow up from Peter, they have really shown that good customer service does exist. I bought a lovely ford galaxy from them. The tires had a little bite out of one and the other side had less than desirable tread left. “I will get them sorted” David said. And he did. The radio code wasn’t with the vehicle “we will sort that out” David said. Robbie then went down to the manufacturers dealership and waited for hours so that I didn’t have to and the car would be ready for me to collect on time. “I will call you Monday when the code comes back from fords” said Peter. And he did. What else is there to know other than I am a very happy customer and wish all at longmans motors a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Which if this is how they do Buisness I am sure it will be.
Salesman in this dealer was delightful, until the car overheated on the way home. Took it back the next morning. No communication from sales person. When i complained about service, his reply was "well my manager will give you a call about the service, in about ten days!". Needless to say, i never herd anything. The service department was good, and did fix the car and deliver the car back. Was also promised a Warranty that would be posted onto us, but never materialised. Had to spend £300 getting the car serviced properly at a dealer, to get a warranty. Wrote a letter to the company owner, but never replied!! Buyer beware!

The gentlmans vehicle was picked up from the showroom on saterday, a two year old full service history. ex motability vehicle. He brought it back on the sunday saying it had a water leak (all over his drive) As our service dept was not open on a sunday the car was left with us.( we stored it in the valeting bay overnight) First thing monday the vehicle was inspected and a small hose leak repaired/replaced by our qualified technitions. subsequently the vehicle was deliverd out to his home address later that day. All waranties are held on a hard drive in our system in the event of any problems. We at Longmans motors appreciate that cars are mechanical and problems do arise, we do our outmost to foresee problems prior to delivery and every effort is made to rectify anthing arising after delivery with the least amount of inconveniance to the customer.
Whilst we didn't leave with a car today we found the staff to be extremely helpful and onest wouldn't hesitate to come back in coming weeks for second look
