About us
Based in Penrith on the edge of the Lake District, we first opened our doors for business back in 1968 when Gerald Braithwaite started a small workshop adjoining the family home. Initially, Gerald only offered vehicle repairs but soon began selling cars. The business expanded quickly over the following years and soon outgrew the original workshop, meaning that much larger premises were required; this came in the form of a large workshop and covered showroom.
