Exterior
The vehicle's exterior components and modules create a harmonious overall look. That is why examining the body, paint, possible accident damage and other modules on the vehicle exterior is exceptionally important.
Engine
The engine is the heart of many Porsche, so key components like belts, battery, and overall running characteristics are inspected to ensure everything works in harmony. The unmistakable sound, however, is something that has to be experienced.
Battery
All fully electric Porsche models have the HV battery tested to ensure no faults are present. The state of health of the battery is also tested with Porsche systems to ensure minimum health level is met.
Tyres
All four tyres will have a minimum of 3mm tread and are Porsche N-Rated. These are tested and approved by Porsche for optimal handling and safety - essential as they are the only part of the vehicle in contact with the road.
Interior
Of the 111 points on the checklist, 39 relate to the interior. Safety-related aspects are tested, as well as the infotainment and multimedia systems and every conceivable interior setting option.
Vehicle documentation
A properly maintained warranty & maintenance booklet gives peace of mind and helps retain the car's value. On-board and safety equipment are also checked to ensure all Porsche components are approved and complete.
Vehicle analysis
The fault memory is reviewed as part of a full check. Mileage is verified to ensure it's consistent with the vehicle's condition and history, helping to detect any signs of tampering. The engine is also checked for over-revving to catch early signs of potential damage.
Test drive
The 111-point check ends with a road test to assess safety features and core Porsche traits like performance, braking, and handling. Driver assistance systems are also tested for function and reliability.

The Porsche Approved Warranty is an insurance policy provided by Acasta Europe Insurance Limited.
Please note that the Porsche Approved Warranty does not cover age-related changes or normal wear and tear that do not affect the functionality of the vehicle. Certain functionally-relevant parts subject to normal wear and tear are also excluded from the warranty, provided that these changes do not represent material defects. We therefore recommend regular inspection and replacement of these parts within the scheduled service and maintenance intervals.
Components that are not covered by the warranty when repaired due to ageing and normal wear and tear are: wiper blades | tyres | brake pads and discs | shock absorbers | clutch discs and pressure plate | drive belt including deflection and tensioning roller | spark plugs | batteries (including high-voltage battery) | expansion tank PDCC | refrigerant | all bulbs (except xenon and LED lights) | all filters (including particulate filters) | fluids, oils and grease.
Furthermore, visual and acoustic claims that do not affect the functionality of the vehicle are not covered by the Porsche Approved Warranty. For components whose main function is visual and/or acoustic signalling, certain visual or acoustic claims are covered by the warranty.
