"While the standard Sandero is the embodiment of Dacia’s bargain brand ethos the Sandero version offers a little more in the way of style and substance thanks to its chunkier crossover looks and some feelgood garnish for the fixtures and fittings. It’s a little more expensive as a result, though still very affordable compared with rivals. A recent update has added Dacia’s new logo and corporate look to the grille, introduced some fashionably earthy colours and aligned the Stepway’s looks with the Jogger and Duster but, other than that, it’s business as usual. Unashamedly basic – and no worse for it – the Stepway also has some interesting features, the option of a Bi-Fuel version able to run on petrol or LPG offering further savings on running costs if there’s suitable infrastructure in your area.
