Campervan and motorhome launches just keep on coming ahead of this year’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show. Joining Bailey’s comprehensive range of leisure vehicles is the new Endurance E62 campervan and it’s every bit a go-anywhere adventure-ready campervan. Here’s what we know about it…
How big is the Endurance E62 Campervan?
Measuring six metres in length with an MPTLM of 3,500kg (meaning it can be driven by anyone with a normal driving licence), the Endurance E62 is built on the Ford Transit Trail platform, packing a 2.0-litre 165bhp engine with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, although this can be upgraded to use an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Transit’s fully-specified cab includes captain’s seats, a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, air conditioning, cruise control, and rear-view reversing camera as standard.
What heat and power equipment does the Endurance E62 have?
The Endurance E62’s living power comes from a Truma 130-watt solar panel and twin 80Ah AGM leisure batteries for off-grid use, and warmth is provided by a Truma Diesel Combi D4E heating system and market-leading Grade III insulation for all-season touring. The Endurance E62 is also pre-wired to allow installation of the optional Avtex mobile wi-fi system.
What is the Endurance E62’s habitation area like?

The Endurance E62 Campervan features Bailey’s ‘Natural Oak’, ‘Lunar Grey’ and ‘Moonstone’ finishes, premium black fixtures and fittings, ‘Stratos’ soft furnishings and textured vinyl flooring. Heki rooflights and flush-fit double-glazed windows provide good natural light, while nearly two metres of headroom keep things feeling spacious. The rear of the vehicle features an open lounge area with a multi-position table and dedicated storage, and transforms into a large double bed at night.

What kitchen does the Endurance E62 have?

The Endurance E62 is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen featuring Bailey’s ‘Lunar Grey’ units, a 90-litre compressor refrigerator, combination hob and sink, and a drop-down worktop extension.
What washroom does the Endurance E62 have?
The Endurance E62’s washroom features a revolving tambour partition, onboard shower, countertop basin and Thetford electric flush toilet.
What upgrades are available for the Endurance E62?

The Endurance E62 can be upgraded to use Ford’s 2.0-litre 165bhp engine with eight-speed automatic gearbox. You can also add 16-inch black Swamper alloy wheels with premium all-weather tyres, a towbar, glass panoramic overcab sunroof with cassette night blind, and a Thule side-mounted wind-out awning. You can also purchase the Adventure Pack, which adds a Rhino roof rack and ladder, additional roof-mounted off-road lighting, and two 100w solid Truma solar panels in lieu of the standard 130w flexible solar panel.
Additional options include a Tentbox roof tent with high-level bed and mattress (which can only be selected if the optional Adventure Pack is fitted), a microwave oven, ‘Midnight’ loose-fit drop-in carpet, scatter cushions, metal tread insert for the rear lounge, and backrest foam cushion for the U-shaped lounge.
