Electric Motorbike Giveaway: Silence S01 Connected winner announced

We are pleased to announce that David from Surrey was the lucky winner of the Silence S01 Connected, from our first ever Electric Motorbike Giveaway which ran from 15th November 21 - 14th December 2021.
We spoke to David about how he felt when he found out you had won the Silence S01 Connected, and he said he was ‘amazed.’ He told us that he ‘rarely enters competitions’ and that he ‘only entered on a whim as I really liked the look of the silence’ and though it would be ‘a funky bike to ride around.’ Before seeing the competition, David wasn’t looking for an electric scooter, it had never come up as a consideration for him because he didn’t know they were in mainstream production. This proves the competition has increased awareness of electric bikes to our Auto Trader Bikes audience, and the wider public. As soon as David got the bike delivered to him by Silence, he went for a spin around his village, the got the confidence to go fast on a B road section across Chobham Common - a beautiful protected lowland habitat in Surrey. Since then David has used the Silence S01 Connected for lots of local errands, he is currently looking at an opportunity to move office locations, and thinks it ‘would be a perfect ride to work.’ We asked David what he thinks about the Silence S01 Connected now he owns one, he said he has been ‘very surprised at the build quality and the size of it.’ He added that the bike is ‘a good size, handles well, and, has a very good turn of speed when needed.’ He has been particularly impressed with the underseat storage and told us ‘it would be easy to go to the local supermarket and do a quite large shop.’ David has found the Silence S01 Connected very easy to charge and said it is ‘just like plugging in a kettle.’ He has been impressed by the ‘turn of speed’ and told us it has a ‘decent range for a reasonable commute.’
