Priority Listing

'Priority Listing’ allows for qualifying adverts to be displayed on the first few pages of search results across all Autotrader platforms.

  1. Definition

    1. “Contracted Stock” refers to the number of vehicles that the Dealer has agreed to advertise as part of their Advertising Services with Autotrader.
    2. “Priority Listing” or “Priority Listed” refers to a default sort order of adverts which appear of the first few pages of search results across Autotrader.co.uk.
    3. “Sort order” refers to the arrangement in which adverts are displayed e.g. by lowest to highest price.

  2. Business Rules

    1. Stock displayed in the Priority Listing sort order is based on the Dealer’s “contracted stock”.
    2. Adverts within the Priority Listing sort-order are displayed based on price (lowest to highest).
      3. Car and Van Customers:
      1. Priority Listing on mobile is included in the Standard, Enhanced and Premium packages. Priority Listing on desktop is only included in the Premium package.
      2. Any dealers subscribing to one of these packages will automatically get the product applied to all their “contracted stock”.
      3. Dealers subscribing to any packages other than Standard, Advanced and Premium do not qualify for the product and cannot purchase as a standalone product.
      4. Priority Listed adverts for car or van are labelled as ‘sponsored adverts first’.
      4. Bike Customers:
      1. Priority Listing is included as part of the Level 3 packages or can be purchased as a standalone product for any dealers subscribing to a selling package.
      2. Priority Listed adverts are only displayed on mobile.
      3. This product is not available for PayGo customers.
      5. Truck, Plant and Farm Customers
      1. Priority Listed adverts for truck, plant and farm are labelled as ‘most recent’.
      2. Any dealers subscribing to a selling package can purchase Priority Listing as a standalone product.
      3. Priority Listed adverts are only displayed on mobile.
      4. This product is not available for PayGo customers.

  3. Charges and Payments

    1. Priority Listings are inclusive of the charges payable for Autotrader Packages.
    2. Charges may vary for Priority Listings taken as a standalone product dependent on the Advertising Agreement in place with Autotrader.

  4. Cancellation and Termination

    1. Cancellation is subject to 30 days’ notice as outlined in the Main Advertising Terms and Conditions.
