Retail Rating is an indicator of how quickly a vehicle will sell on Autotrader based on current market conditions. It is calculated by analysing speed of sale performance, plus market conditions including supply and demand, and is surfaced on a scale of 1-100.
Competitor view
Competitor View ranks where a vehicle advert sits in the live market compared to similar or exact match vehicles. Vehicles are ranked based on value or price and displayed in a list or graph view. This can be filtered to increase or reduce the volume of competing vehicles.
Average days to sell
Average days to sell is an estimate of the average number of days we expect vehicles of the same derivative and age will take to sell on Autotrader. This is calculated for the whole of the UK and then adjusted for the variations we observe locally in the relevant area.
Price adjusted days to sell
Price adjusted average days to sell is an estimate of the average number of days we expect it will take to sell a vehicle at its current retail price from the relevant location. This is calculated for the whole of the UK and then adjusted for the variations we observe locally in the relevant area.
