Level Up Or Double Level Up Offer Terms & Conditions

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms have the following meanings:

“Discounted Upgrade Rate” means the Qualifying Advertiser’s current rate (i.e. the rate they pay for their existing Package immediately prior to the Offer Period) plus 50% of the upgrade cost payable for Package Upgrade;
”Level Up or Double Level Up Offer" means the promotion operated by Auto Trader which will allow Qualifying Advertisers, who sign up during the Sign-Up Period, to upgrade their existing Package to either: (i) the next Package level up, being one Package higher than their existing Package (“Level Up”); or (ii) the Package which is two Packages higher than their existing Package (“Double Level Up”), in each case, for free for two months and at a 50% discounted rate for three months, during the Offer Period. During the Offer Period, the Qualifying Advertiser will pay their current rate (i.e. the rate they pay for their existing Package immediately prior to the Offer Period) for the first two months of the Offer Period and they will pay the Discounted Upgrade Rate for the last three months of the Offer Period;
“New Business Advertiser” means a Qualifying Advertiser who signs up to an Advertisement Agreement with Auto Trader during the Sign-Up Period;
"Offer Period" means the period starting from when the offer is taken up during the Sign-Up Period (but to start no earlier than 7th April 2025) and continuing for a period of five consecutive months after that;
"Package Upgrade" means the Qualifying Advertiser's upgraded Package (which will either be a Level Up or Double Level Up) as a result of the Qualifying Advertiser participating in the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer;
“Qualifying Advertisers” means Advertisers who:
1. have been invited by Auto Trader to join the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer;
2. are car and van dealers only (including in Northern Ireland), who currently have an Advertising Agreement with Auto Trader (excluding New Business Advertisers); and
3. meet the downgrade criteria at paragraphs 3 and 4 below; and
"Sign-Up Period" means the period between 7th April 2025 to 18th July 2025 (inclusive), as may be extended by Auto Trader at its discretion.

The Level Up or Double Level Up Offer is available to Qualifying Advertisers who sign-up for the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer during the Sign-Up Period, subject to these Rules. If any individual site in a Qualifying Advertiser's group is not eligible for the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer, this will not affect the eligibility of the Qualifying Advertiser’s other sites to participate in the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer.

Qualifying Advertisers will not be eligible for the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer if the Qualifying Advertiser has given notice to cancel or downgrade its Package on or after a date falling 2 months prior to going live on the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer (unless such notice to cancel or downgrade has been retracted during this period).

In respect of any Qualifying Advertisers who participate in the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer, if they give notice at any time after the commencement of the Offer Period to cancel or downgrade their Package Upgrade, they will become ineligible for the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer, and any Package Upgrade shall be charged at Auto Trader's standard rate card for the duration of the Offer Period (including retrospectively).

A Qualifying Advertiser shall only be entitled to take up the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer once, and can only choose to take either the Level Up or the Double Level Up offer (and cannot change between the two).

Participating in the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer constitutes a permanent change to the respective Qualifying Advertiser's Advertising Agreement, and the Package Upgrade is deemed a formal upgrade to the Qualifying Advertiser's Package in accordance with Main Advertising Terms and Conditions. Accordingly, and for the avoidance of doubt, the standard downgrade and cancellation notice requirements set out in the Main Advertising Terms and Conditions shall apply following the commencement of the Offer Period, provided that any such notice given by the Qualifying Advertiser to downgrade or cancel the Package Upgrade shall not expire any earlier than the end of the Offer Period.

Qualifying Advertisers who downgrade their Package at the end of the Offer Period (including a reasonable period thereafter, as determined in Auto Trader’s sole discretion), may (at Auto Trader’s discretion) be excluded from similar offers in the future regarding upgrade of packages, additional stock, products or services or otherwise, or may require prior approval from Auto Trader to participate in such offers.

Qualifying Advertisers cannot advertise stock on behalf of a third party.

Qualifying Advertisers shall ensure that individual sites within their group who are eligible for the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer shall comply with these Rules, and such Qualifying Advertisers shall be primarily liable for such individual sites in connection with these Rules.

Any associated costs will be detailed via order confirmation and invoice.

Communication regarding the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer may be received via email, Portal or from your Account Manager.

Auto Trader reserves the right to allow or refuse to allow any Qualifying Advertiser to participate in the Level Up or Double Level Up Offer at its sole discretion.

Qualifying Advertisers that breach these Rules may be charged Auto Trader's standard rate card for the duration of the Offer Period in respect of any Package Upgrade (including retrospectively).

Auto Trader reserves the right to amend, modify or remove this Level Up or Double Level Up Offer at any point with immediate effect.
