Buying Signals

Turning buyer data into
actionable insight

There's no time for guessing when it comes to buyers. Buying Signals give you the power to understand exactly what buyers want, where they are in their purchase journey, and how to make the most of every interaction.

What do Buying Signals tell
you about buyers?

Buyer intent

You'll know exactly how engaged each customer is and be able to identify who's most likely to make a purchase. This is based on their behaviour and interactions, which means it's not just what they've looked at, but the actions they've taken along the way – giving you a fuller understanding of their intent.

High intent

Are they high intent?

We analyse the behaviour of the buyer over the previous 7 days to see if they'd be considered 'high intent'.

Local

Are they local to you?

If the buyer is located less than 30 miles from your dealership, they're more likely to buy, and return for aftersales and more down the line.

Vehicle saved

Do they have your vehicle saved?

Having your vehicle saved to their Autotrader account or added to their basket are the signs that a buyer is going to commit.

Buyer preferences

Without having to go back-and-forth, preferences give you a view of what buyers are interested in. A range of specifics based on the adverts they have been looking at over the past 7 days including:

  • tick iconPreferred make and model
  • tick iconFuel type, transmission and body style
  • tick iconDesired mileage and age range
