Scania offers free refreshments on tour for truck drivers
In a bid to give back to the industry during COVID-19, Scania (Great Britain) Limited are sending out their hospitality trailer to give out free refreshments to truck drivers.

Scania will be serving up tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and you can even get your hands on a Scania branded chocolate bar.
The refreshment truck will be open to all drivers if you can catch it on its tour of Distribution Centres. To keep up to date with the location of the truck, please visit Scania UK’s Facebook page. We spoke to Scania's Events Manager Stacey Llewellyn-Price who said: "with the majority of truck stops, cafes and roadside pull-ins closed around the UK, the simple matter of obtaining refreshments has become a nigh-on impossible challenge for the nation's transport heroes." This is why Scania have decided to help and to say thank you for all the vital and essential work they are doing. All staff and customers of the refreshment truck will, of course, be required to adhere to the Government’s social distancing policy. "Many drivers will already be familiar with the trailer as it normally visits many truck shows and events around the country every year. But 2020 is different, of course, so we're doing what we can and now look forward to welcoming as many drivers to enjoy a socially-distanced refreshment break with us as soon as possible – so if you see us at a Distribution Centre you are visiting, do drop in and see us!” We hope you get to see the Scania truck and enjoy a treat near you!
