Ryder invest £3m in new Midlands Sales and Service Centre
Ryder the industry leader in truck rental, fleet management and supply chain solutions for businesses, have invested £3m in a new site on the outskirts of Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.

The large site just off the A38 will house a new Sales and Service Centre for used stock, where buyers can find an extensive selection of; tractor units, trailers, rigid trucks, and LCVs, previously leased and back in the market for purchase.
Nigel Martin, Used Vehicle and Asset Management Director at Ryder has said that they are committed to providing buyers with a great selection of quality used trucks and that customers can trust their stock have been owned and maintained by Ryder. He was proud to announce the new site as their “investment in this Midlands Used Vehicle Sales and Service Centre allows us to increase the size and scale of our service offering.” Ryder currently have existing used Vehicle Sales and Service Centre in Avonmouth and Rainham, Essex, which all offer lots parking spaces for all types of vehicles. The centre will have a dedicated team of six highly trained technicians working in a state of the art workshop. This will ensure all their customers receive quality used trucks with an MOT, 90-point vehicle inspection and a valet. If you visit the new centre, you will be able to select used trucks with just one previous owner, a full service history and full compliance documentation. Martin feels this is the perfect time to expand as “truck reliability has been improving for some time, making a second hand vehicle a more viable proposition than ever before. Our out-servicing process means the trucks are given the highest level of attention and care, ensuring consistency of product for customers.”
