Renault Trucks UK & Ireland Appoint New Managing Director
Renault Trucks UK and Ireland will be graced with new leadership this Autumn. The vehicle giant recently announced the appointment of former Volvo Group CFO Carlos Rodrigues to the role of Managing Director. Rodrigues will begin his new role on 1st October 2018.

Rodrigues’ extensive knowledge of the business means that he is well positioned to bring his insights to bear on the strategic and commercial areas that will prove fundamental in delivering long-term success to Renault Trucks’ presence across the UK and Ireland.
A new era for Renault
Rodrigues selection follows a decision to separate the Volvo Group Trucks Market Company organisation between Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks in the UK & Ireland as well as in other European markets like Spain, Belgium, Italy and France. The new structure allows for greater opportunities for brand dedication in these markets.
In the UK and Ireland, both the Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks brands will remain in their current headquarters at Warwick. Head of Renault Trucks Europe, Jean-Claude Bailly showed clear excitement at the appointment, stating; “Renault Trucks has great ambitions across Europe and as such the UK and Ireland are important markets for Renault Trucks’ growth in the coming years. Carlos brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this important role and has an exceptional track record. His appointment reflects the ambition of Renault Trucks in the UK and Ireland, to ensure that the business has the optimal leadership structure in place to serve our customer base most effectively.”
