At the moment, he is thought to be using a variety of New Holland Agriculture and Construction equipment at his Salt Lake City-based shop. As well as that, Sparks uses the tools at his new home construction site and community-focused land development project in Great Salt Lake.
The star of the Discovery TV series, Diesel Brothers, was a “natural choice” according to Kimberly Weidman. The Brand Marketing Communications Manager for New Holland, North America, said: “Partnering with Heavy D was a natural choice – he has been a user of New Holland Construction equipment for years. Sparks himself added: “I’ve been a fan of their equipment for a while and am excited to be welcomed into the New Holland family.” “New Holland’s equipment is top-notch – it’s the perfect blend of innovation, operator comfort and power to get the job done.” The people at New Holland were also impressed by ‘Heavy D’ and his public and charitable work. Weidman said, “Heavy D cares deeply for his family, community and charitable efforts, which reflect the values of the New Holland brand.” Hopefully, the relationship won’t get anyone into trouble, but Sparks can be a controversial figure. Earlier this year, he was ordered to stop building and selling “smoke-blowing” trucks by a district court. With ‘Heavy D,’ there will be sparks with whatever he does.
