Who is the the Sprayer Demo Day 2019 for?
The event is dedicated to sprayers, with 15 mainline manufacturers showcasing their machines. Therefore all farmers who have budgetary control and responsibility for applying chemical to crops, whether arable or grassland will be able to justify attending. The predominant theme is self-propelled equipment, although there is a selection of towed machines coupled up to tractors included within the working demonstration.
Driving the machines with the opportunity to monitor boom response across transverse conditions, section control etc involving a one to one discussion with the exhibitor replicates as near as possible a demonstration on your own farm. In addition you can challenge the manufacturers on their product offerings to ensure you select the best fit for your operations. To complement the exhibitor mix there are industry leading tyre and sprayer nozzle providers on hand with up to date information on products and support. As the industry comes further under the spotlight with regards to environmental control measures the 2019 Sprayer Demo Day is an ideal opportunity to review your existing fleet and plan accordingly.
What shall I bring?
In addition to some warm clothing, have a summary of your own machines specifications, including tyres and nozzle profiles. Consider future opportunities such as a move to liquid fertiliser and further precision control features. A quick ready reckoner of your annual spend on chemicals might be useful when getting down the financial discussions.
