All John Deere 6R tractors to be fitted with the CommandPro joystick
All John Deere's small and mid-range 6R Series tractors are to be fitted with it's CommandPro joystick. These models will also have the new CommandCentre 4200 display and ISObus functions plus models over 130hp now meet the Stage V emissions standard.

John Deere claim the CommandPro technology sets new standards in ergonomics and versatility. There are 11 programmable buttons which control the hitch, PTO, SCVs, and AutoTrac controls.
Just a push or pull of the joystick and the CommandPro can be controlled from its top speed to zero. Using the creeper control function lower speeds from 0-2km can be achieved. The joystick and pedals can be operated at the same time and the tractor and ISObus functions can also work simultaneously. CommandPro will be available on the wider 6R Series range in combination with John Deere's AutoPowr transmission, and both features are standard on the 6R Ultimate Edition models. CommandPro can be ordered in combination with either the 4600 or the new 4200 CommandCentre display. All 6R tractors can come with variable ratio steering (VRS). For the operator this means less arm movement and steering effort and quick and smooth headland turns. The system can be activated and deactivated from the tractor's CommandCentre control console. Additional operator comfort is provided by the leather steering wheel as well as a self-cancelling turn signal. Equipped with a larger hydraulic pump, the 6145R and 6155R models now deliver a powerful maximum oil flow of 155 lit/min. This is an increase of 23 per cent compared to the previous pump. The larger 6R Series models of more than 130hp will feature Stage V compliant engines, so Deere is already achieving the stringent emission values that will apply from January 1, 2019 for tractors more powerful than 170hp.
