If you're a couple looking to purchase a 2-berth caravan (a caravan that sleeps two people), then you'd be forgiven for not knowing where to start. There are so many different models on the market that it can be hard to choose which is the caravan for you. Here we break down the best 2-berth caravans that money can buy, to help you make your decision easier.
1. Adria Action
MTPLM (Maximum Technically Permitted Laden Mass): 1,100kg
The futuristic-looking Adria Action is a great place to start. The stylish exterior is matched on the inside with a huge skylight allowing for plenty of natural light inside the caravan. This makes up for the slightly compact nature, measuring 5.2 metres long by 2.2 metres wide. The flip-up table maximises space, folding neatly away when not in use. Your dining area becomes the bedroom at night, with pull out slats turning the smart navy sofa into a giant double bed, easily sleeping two people. Other perks of the Action include LED lamps, plenty of storage inside and outside the caravan, and an all-important USB socket for charging phones and tablets. There's a television bracket that will hold a large TV and a good-sized fridge freezer in the kitchen, located at the back of the caravan. There's a proper shower in the bathroom and a fold-away sink above the toilet. Discover all of our Adria Action caravans for sale here.
2. Lunar Stellar
MTPLM: 1,175kg
The Lunar Stellar is more traditional looking than the Adria Action, which may be a pro or a con depending on your taste! The Stellar measures 5.7 metres in length by 2.3 metres in width. The classic layout with rear kitchen and side bathroom remains, and the interior features a smart grey finish. There’s a moderately sized skylight and plenty of storage. The highlight is undoubtedly the kitchen, with a large worktop and two windows providing plenty of light. The bathroom is also large, with a stand-alone sink, shower and toilet. Moving to the front, the yellow curtains contrast nicely with the grey interior and the bed slides out from under the sofa, with a useful cabinet for further storage. 3. Swift Challenger 480
MTPLM: 1,394kg
The Swift Challenger 480 is a large caravan for a 2-berth, measuring 6.6 metres long by 2.2 metres wide. The black front gives the exterior a smart look and the extra space inside is welcome. The large rear bathroom features a stand-alone sink, toilet, wardrobe and proper shower. Some may find the wardrobe being in the bathroom to be unusual, but it is an excellent use of space, making the caravan feel even larger. The modern wood-finished kitchen is found in the middle of the caravan and includes a very large fridge freezer, bigger than most rival caravans on the market. The lounge area is light and airy, with a pull-out table, generous double bed and built-in speakers and stereo. Discover all of our Swift Challenger 480 here.
4. Bailey Unicorn Seville
MTPLM: 1,322kg
The Bailey Unicorn Seville has been growing in popularity over recent years. A cutting-edge front panel gives the exterior a modern look, whilst the Unicorn returns to its classic L-shaped interior. This includes a rear kitchen and side bathroom with separate shower. The modern stand-alone sink is a particular highlight. The white lounge is incredibly bright, with plenty of windows further adding to the airy nature of the caravan. The seat benches are longer than many competitors and there's a DAB radio with Bluetooth capability, perfect for a night in! There are also USB sockets and plenty of storage facilities. 5. Coachman VIP 460
MTPLM: 1,415kg
